Did Rick Nelson sing on the show? The only ones I remember are 1957's "I'm Walkin'"(in this song he says "hang 'em"-What does "hang 'em"mean?),1958's "Believe What You Say",1959's "It's Late",1961's "Travelin' Man" and 1963's "Everlovin".Did he sing any others?Feel free to post.

Hello Mary Lou
I could go on and on but it's almost 1 am and titles aren't coming to me. He sang tons of songs. It would be easier to probably say what didn't he sing.

The only big hit from the 1957-1964 era that Rick did NOT sing on the show was "Poor Little Fool." He did not want to release the song as a single, but Ozzie overruled him and released it anyway. Rick refused to perform it on the show though, and yet it still became his first number one hit--proof that his musical success wasn't entirely due to the show, although the show obviously helped.

Besides Poor Little Fool, the only one I haven't seen him sing on the show is Sweeter Than You. In addition to the hits, though, he did quite a few album tracks - My One Desire, You Tear Me Up, You'll Never Know What You're Missing, Glory Train, etc.

" You Tear Me Up" and " Glory Train" were quite good. I remember a show where Rick sang two songs in a row: "For You" and "The Very Thought of You".
