"That Girl" should be back on cable! She's a good role model for a lot of people! TV Land or any other good cable company should pick this up! It would be great if they aired an independent women block, consisting of "That Girl", "The Mary Tyler Moore Show", "Rhoda", & "Phyllis"....This show is to good to be kept a secret, and the show featured great acting by Marlo Thomas & Ted Bessel.

(BTW, Anchor Bay has released 18 episodes on tape. Three episodes per tape, and $9.99 (Retail) per tape. They did an excellent job in clearing up the picture, and it's in a great UNCUT form!)

I agree, I think she's a great role model for me :) and I think a lot of people would watch a line up of independent women shows like the ones you suggested.

I really like "That Girl" I own the videos that have been released, I think Anchor Bay should release more sets, I think the shows you listed would be a great line-up for either Lifetime, Oxygen, or WE . I hope TV Land would pick this show up because it needs to be back on cable!

I agree too!! It would be great for young women to have someone who portrayed good morals to look up to. Of course that was a different time but we should get back to those times.
Notice how a lot of the prop items are now back in style? I was so glad to see the 70's retro come back!

Total agreement on my part. I've only ever seen clips of "That Girl" but would do almost ANYTHING to see a full ep! :p I adore Marlo!

However, I think if TvLand picks up "That Girl" Canadian TvLand should...because I'm Canadian! :)

I, also, would love to see That Girl return. The shows ton TV land now still seem too new. Like they were just on in prime time yesterday! We need some true classics on TV Land or perhaps a new network devoted to classic -- truly classis t.v.

I remember watching this show when I was a very little girl with my sisters and loving it; and Marlo Thomas had kick ass good taste in clothes...:)
