:yeahthat Also, Sophia Loren is said to have never had plastic surgery. She's in her mid-70s and is still gorgeous!! (I may be a bit biased because I share a birthday with her - different years, of course. :lol:)

I agree that Kathy Bates is a good example of someone who looks normal and 100% better than the majority of these stars who have had surgery. Though, I personally wouldn't consider her a character actress anymore. I think once she started getting leading roles, and especially once she won her Oscar, she crossed over from that category.

i don't understand why people like her resort to these measures. perhaps they are so insecure in themselves they would turn to surgery. sad.

They don't look good you can tell their skin has been pulled and looks too tight.
