As a reminder, The Hub is replacing Discovery Kids. So if you have that network, you'll have The Hub come 10/10/10.

The Hub Acquires More Sitcoms - Family Ties, Schedule for New Houston Classic TV Station

As we have mentioned a few times already, Discovery Kids is turning into The Hub on Sunday, October 10.
Other sitcoms acquired Family Ties.
Kids and Family Prime (7pm-1am). We will cover mostly 7pm and on. Kicking off the kids and family primetime block starting Monday, October 11 is back-to-back episodes of Family Ties will air in the 8pm hour. From 1am-6am will be encores of the same series starting at 7pm.

Last week we told you the news that KAZH in Houston will turn from a Spanish station to an English classic TV station starting today (Sept. 27). And now we have the schedule for your lucky people in Houston! The station will change its call letters to KUBE. They will air series from the CBS Paramount library along with a few Universal series as well it seems. Among the comedies airing are Happy Days, Andy Griffith Show, The Beverly Hillbillies, Family Ties, Taxi, The Brady Bunch, Laverne & Shirley, Mork & Mindy and Saved by the Bell, along with dramas like Hunter, Star Trek, Little House, Perry Mason and Quincy ME. Weekends will be filled with classic dramas like The A-Team, Dragnet, and Adam-12.

View the FULL Houston's KUBE-TV schedule. Thanks to reader Michael Dudas from Houston for his updates on this!

Thanks for the info. Pavan. I don't think I get that channel now. I had to downgrade my cable service due to the cost.

I have the KUBE channel so that's great. :)

I just saw The Hub and I like the station. I think this decade, we may be seeing more stations playing older shows because of Gen Y, which likes nostalgia stuff.

And though I don't have a Syndicated Station...I would like to see Cleveland's CW Affiliate WBNX make a Superstation like WGN America and have it play shows from the 50's-90's.

For some reason this week Family Ties is not on the KUBE schedule.

The Hub has been as of late, phasing FT out (regulating it to weekends) once they added Mork & Mindy, The Facts of Life, and Sabrina the Teenage Witch to their weekday schedule.

I still get FT on a local channel. It's still as good as it ever was.

Wow that's amazing. I don't get anything from the 80s on any local channels :(
