Does anyone remember this show from the mid to late 90's. It was supposed to be centered in Maine, there were 2 sisters and a brother, all older late 30's-40's I think. One of the sisters was named jonie, the youngest one. And the oldest sister had conversations with her dead mother. There was also a dad... older and a few of them lived with him, maybe they all did. Also in thel ater shows the younger sister had a baby girl... and she had a business.. it was called the barkery.. a bakery for pets. I cannot remember the name, arghhhhh help!!! It was a semi serious show, not real popular, it's bothering me that I cannot remember the name.

The show was called "Providence" and it was set in Providence, Rhode Island not Maine. It starred Melina Kanakaredies as the sister that talked to the ghost of the mother. Paula Cale played Joanie, the sister with the bakery for dogs.

It aired on NBC starting in 1999 until 2002.

It was a wonderful show. I live in RI and it was very popular with the locals.
