In this ensemble sitcom, Austin O'Brien and Andrew Kavovit star as best friends Vince Stough [O'Brien] and Eric Phillips [Kavovit] who both land jobs as writers for a TV variety-talk show hosted by Ann Loblaw, played by Courtney Thorne-Smith. Also featured are Maggie Lawson as Dorothy [Dottie] Forbes, who has eyes on Eric, Mary Page Keller as Tess Siebert, Ann's producer, who is frequently screamed at by the star, and Jenna Dewan as Joanna McCormick, a production assistant who has a romantic interest in Vince.
