I would just like to commemorate the number of views of my last thread by mentioning that eleven years ago, "Caroline in the City" came to an end. I really miss this series and wish that more seasons would come out on DVD!

I'm just glad it's on TV Guide Channel so that I can see them all!

I only have them on DVD. I've seen the final episode, but remember nothing about it.

I'm just praying that the final 2 seasons are released.

Oh me too! I wonder what's taking them so long?

I wish the TV Guide channel was still airing the show. I don't believe they showed all the episodes but the way they kept switching it around on their schedule may have caused me to miss a few. Having all the seasons on DVD would be nice too.

Oh I know! I saw the episode that was Caroline's wedding to Del but I never saw the breakup or anything so I'm pretty sure they skipped it. Very annoying! I would love it if all the seasons were on DVD. Wonder what's taking so long to release the last two?

I"m hoping they'll bring it back again but honestly they should put it on Hallmark or Lifetime b/c then I could just watch it from the beginning again. That is if they decide to air them in order.

^That would be great if they started the series over again on one of those networks you mentioned. Then maybe we'd be able to see all the ones we missed.

I was watching "Caroline and the Long Shot" last week and when Richard got up to go down to the court, I noticed that Caroline kissed him on the mouth. Melt-worthy? Absolutely but I felt like I was missing something b/c the only other time I had seen them kiss was when Richard wrote her that letter and she arrived at Remo's.

^ Sounds like they definitely skipped a few episodes. Maybe we'll luck out & get another run of the show in the near future.

hope you guys get the final 2 seasons released on dvd. i know that in the U.K the first season came out over here in 2005, then the second the same year. seasons 3 and 4 were released in 2006.

of course when i first found out it was coming out on dvd, i bought the first 2 seasons. the last two was given to me as xmas presents by my sister.

I finally got Season 1 on DVD for my birthday in September and I'm hoping to get Season 2 someday. I used to complain about the rest of the series not being on DVD but now that could be a good thing, considering how much I disliked those two seasons.

maybe when you watch the last 2 seasons in full, your views on them will change, but then again, maybe not.

It's great that you've got all the seasons, wish they would have released them here in the US at the same time they did over there.

i agree with you on season 3- a lot of fans disliked it because of the whole julia thing. i found her annoying and i hated that character. however and in spite of the lack of humour, i thought it was interesting. especially with how caroline tried to come to terms with her feelings for richard and him being married to julia. the drama and tension worked well.

as for season 4, i thought it wasn't too bad. again fans hated it, but i thought it was ok. i liked all the caroline and richard moments, but of course i would as i am a shipper of that couple. the ending, well the last few scenes of the final episode were painful to watch. horrible writing, just horrible.

I agree and it was so far from how the series started. Makes me glad that they've only released Seasons 1-2 on DVD

but seasons 3 and 4 will be coming out on dvd eventually, so like i said in one of the other posts, maybe your views will be different to what they were this time round when you watch the episodes again.
