I have found that there are similarities between some of the backward lyrics of "Stairway to Heaven", and some situations involving those missing girls (and other elements) from the 1st year of "Facts of Life"! Here's what I have found so far:

"All on track, all arriving": The few "facts girls" who came in from the Magic Mountain Monorail they used to ride on "The New Mickey Mouse Club", to this new show.

"They all sing and they are one": The girls who sang that 1st-year theme song.

"Shall I loathe you now, parishioner?": The girls' feelings about Lisa Whelchel.

"It stirs mice in the river": What the show did to their Mouseketeer career.

"Three who'll make it here late": Sue Ann, Nancy and Cindy made a few appearances up until the 3rd season.

"There was a little toolshed": The barn where the horse was stuck in the rainstorm.

"'I see ruins', said [s]he. 'The world they offered me!'": The Felice Schachter situation to a tee.

"And no wimps can do.": What Jo thought of those other kids.

"Someday, failed, we'll lose one line-up. They gotta leave forsaken.": self-explanatory

"Any moot that serves by my sworn music...": Gloria Loring's new theme.

"He who would show, may make his show worthy, to look for us odd, sickly, there's one chance - Take his show.": The NBC exec who accepted a second season, if these girls were out.

"If we lose 'Feather', say you'll save me." - A reference to Cindy, who is given this "nickname" here because of her hair.
