Graham Hints At "Gilmore Girls" Movie
Sept. 15, 2010
Actress Lauren Graham has given hope to fans of defunct U.S. series "Gilmore Girls" - she's revealed a big-screen adaption could be in the pipeline.
The show, starring Graham as a single mum raising her daughter, began in 2000 but was axed in 2007.
Calls for a movie spin-off never came to fruition - but Graham admits a big-screen version is now being discussed.
She tells Vanity Fair magazine, "It might happen. What's funny to me is that in all these years, no one ever talked about a film except the fans. But now people... who could actually make it happen are talking about it."
But Graham is sceptical over whether a movie version of the series would work so long after the cancellation.
She adds, "I think it could be good, but I wonder if we've waited too long. I don't want to be walking around the town square with a cane."
