Beaver Cleaver (Jerry Mathers) faces some tough times at school when he gets a D- on his report card, learns his favorite teacher is engaged and is caught swearing. Wally's (Tony Dow) good friend Eddie Haskell (Ken Osmond) confronts tragedy of his own when a girl breaks his heart.

Other fourth-season highlights include Wally getting kicked off the track team and Beaver getting trapped in an enormous soup bowl.
