They didn't sound familiar to me either. I looked up shadow mountain and battagila on the UM wikia site and didn't find anything.
I'm not sure that "DR Drbora Grenn" is the correct spelling. I think it's Dr. Deborah Green. She's the subject of the Anne Rule book, Bitter Harvest.
Jimmy Dale Taylor's story is now a book and movie. He was charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of a traveling companion in 1967. It was ruled self defense since he was protecting a 19 year old hitchhiker, who they'd picked up, from being raped.
There is a John David Battaglia in Texas who was convicted of murdering his 9 year old and 6 year old daughters. This one stands out to me, since he's the father who shot his daughters to death while their mother listened over the speaker phone. I'm pretty sure at least one other true crime type show covered that case, but I don't recall which one.
