How did you answer her question??

I said-"no that is a book about a show that aired on ABC in the 70's about a straight guy living with two girls"

I showed her the cast photo and the only person she recognized was................NORMAN FELL

 Where did she recognize Norman Fell from if she didn't know who John Ritter or Suzanne Somers were?

Psh, dumb. I'm younger than her and I've known Three's Company since I was 12 and had read the book by 14. In fact, most people my age (late teens/early 20's) that I know know about the show. She just must've been really oblivious.

Well in her defense Three's Company hasn't been shown locally in philly since the late 80's. lol

 I would have thought that most people my age would have at least heard of the show.

I guess if you were born in 85 and after you probably would not have know about most shows unless it was on your local WB or UPN channel.

Just like a coworker last week was stressed out and said-"elizabeth I'm coming to join you" and a 20 year old client asked her-"who is elizabeth"

LOL

Lol, I like to make classic TV references but many of my co-workers are 17 to their early 20s. And most of them find TV lame. Don't get me wrong, there are older co-workers who know what I'm talking about. It's just kind of frustrating that the others don't.

When Gary Coleman died, I went around saying "Watchu Talkin' Bout, (the person's name)" all day as a tribute. Not everyone knew what I was doing.

One day, a co-worker said to me "Confused?" I responded "You won't be after tonight's episode of Soap." :) Of course that reference was lost on them.

I don't know I just find that interesting because it was at least on nick at nite for awhile. Most people have watched nick at nite as least once. I'm actually shocked when I find out the amount of people that DO watch it that are my age.

In addition to having been on Nick at Nite, it is presently on TVLand quite a bit. It is my understanding that TVLand is nationwide.
