Once upon a time, I started a thread titled "Unpopular". This thread was all about my fondness for actress Hazel Shermet. For those of you who have not read it and do not know who she is, she has two associations with the "Facts of Life". In the first place, she made guest appearances on two episodes. On top for this, her late husband (Larry Rhine) was involved in producing and directing several others. In the past, whenever I would have something new to add regarding her or any related topic, I would bring up that thread and post a reply. However, because of how old and moth-eaten that thread is, I am now starting a new thread to tell you guys about a controdiction that I just learned about. In an interview of her that I watched on "Youtube" she said that she was born in 1920. If you look over the Internet, you will see how little information there is about her so getting to see that interview was a real threat! Well, I have since looked her up again and found that someone has added a birthday for her on two of the very fews sites that mention her at all. It has her birthday listed as August 1st, 1921! One possible factor is that, she was already quite old when the interview was conducted. Maybe her mind was playing tricks on her as a result of her age. Either that or whomever added her age to either of those two sites was mistaken. Any thoughts anyone?

I would assume the actress would have her own birthday correct and that someone posted the wrong date on those sites. People post wrong information all the time.

Thank you very much for expressing your point of view! Now I would like to add a piece of trivia to the equation just for fun. Like I mentioned before, in addition to producing and directing several episodes of "Facts of Life", Hazel's late husband was also involved in a lot of other series that a lot of you are familiar with. These include The Brady Bunch, All in the Family, Gimme a Break! and the cartoon known as Speed Buggie. Well, I was recently watching a syndicated episode of "The Pebbles and Bam-Bam Show" on "Boomerang Network". For those of you not familiar, this show is a spin-off of the "Flintstones". As the credits were being listed, there was good old Larry! That man was really a jack of all trades!

Because of how slow the board is, I have decided to bring this one to the top of the page. There are several things about this thread in which I would like more peoples' feedback on. In the first place, what do other fans think of this contradiction of facts? On top of this, if anyone else is familiar with Hazel Shermet, I would really like to know what you think of her in general or her appearances on this series in particular! And last but not least, if anyone is a fan of those "Flintstone" spin-offs or any of the other cartoons that Hazel's late husband was involved in, this is another think that I would love to read about!
