I think another artist sang She's Gone if i'm not mistaken and i think it's a rock artist. I was listening to Hall and Oates greatest hits cd today and i played She's Gone. I love their version.

View Full Version : Who Else Sang She's Gone Besides Hall And Oates? isiahthomas 09-11-2010, 04:48 PM I think another artist sang She's Gone if i'm not mistaken and i think it's a rock artist. JamesG 09-11-2010, 07:25 PM According to what I was able to find: Tavares covered it for their album 'Hard Core Poetry' in 1974 and Lou Rawls covered it for his 'She's Gone' album that same year. Recently, The Bird and the Bee covered it for 'Interpreting the Masters Volume 1: A Tribute to Daryl Hall and John Oates'. catlover79 09-12-2010, 03:01 AM Yes, Tavares covered it and it went to #1 on the R&B charts in 1974. Then they went on to score two major hits with "Heaven Must Be Missing an Angel" and "More Than a Woman" from Saturday Night Fever. isiahthomas 09-18-2010, 10:39 AM Thanks. I like Tavares. I love their It Only Takes A Minute song. That's a nice disco jam. |
