i am having troubles taping from the wb .fro some reason it is saying that it is protected and can't tape onto a dvd disc .i have tried two recorders one just will not tape the other recorder says it is protected content . i am going to try to tap directly onto a disc from the station but i am noty sure if that will work . if anyone can help me get the current seasons of 90210 and vampire diaries please email mer asap

I know the quality will degrade some but how about recording to vhs then dvd

Or maybe you can record dvr to dvd.

There might be a way to copy what's on your dvr onto your computer and then put on dvd.

Are these shows available on On-Demand? Maybe you can record the episodes from there too.

thanks for the idea i have been thinking about trying it using vhs but i have very few vhs tapes so i have to see if i have one i can use . the episode is on my dvr and i was trying to tape it to dvd+r from my dvr but that is when my dvd recorder says it is protected content . i have tried it more than once and the same thign happened when i tried tapin the season finale from last season a few weeks ago when it was re broadcast.i will let you know if it works using the vcr but i think i am going to try puting in a dvd+rw and doing it that way. i am going to try it on tuesday with 90210(i hope it works!
