Sad news for Heroes fans… all eight of you. A “key source” on the canceled drama has informed EW that plans of developing a movie to wrap up the four-year series have been scrapped. When the show was canceled in May, there was some chatter about creator Tim Kring making a movie that would provide closure for the characters. This decision seems just in that if Veronica Mars can't get a movie, this definitely shouldn't.

And networks wonder why people are very slow to get into serialized shows. I'm not even going to watch The Event or Lonestar until I see the ratings. I've been burnt too many times by these networks.
