There was not one opening, but two-?In the first one,(1964)we see Lily, looking sexy and sultry,at the door, welcoming guests to "The Munsters".And then they introduce Grandpa,Marilyn,Eddie, and then the stairs open, and it introduces and says "Starring Fred Gwynne as Herman".And in the second one, presumably at midseason 1965,it opens with the stairs with "Starring Fred Gwynne as Herman",then Lily, handing Herman his briefcase and smiling, then Grandpa,Marilyn, and Eddie. Why was this?

I haven't seen the Munsters in awhile but did that happen after Pat Priest replaced Beverly Owen. That might have been why they changed it.

The actresses looked remarkably alike and I wonder if anyne caught the difference in the 2 because I sure didn't.
