manetoys 10-06-2010, 09:55 PM Richard Kline will also be there. He was recently added. Can't wait. I was really hoping he'd attend a show. Gonna be awesome.

Thanks for that. There's also a lot of other great guests going.
I've seen Joyce, Priscilla, and Richard appear at a lot of events together but I've never seen Suzanne join them on the convention circuit. Even Jenilee Harrison recently joined them over at The Hollywood Show.
It would be great if Suzanne joined them all. Is it really because she doesn't get along with Joyce?

Yeah the updated guest list is actually pretty good this year. I've seen photos of Kline, Dewitt & Branes from other shows, but I don't think Kline has attended a NY/NJ show. I may be wrong, but either way I'm really glad he's gonna be there.
Too bad Jenilee Harrison isn't coming. I only need her and Suzanne Somers to complete my 3's company autograph collection. I don't think Somers will ever attend any kind of autograph show.

No, Kline has been around NY/NJ before. I know of two events off-hand that he was at:
- New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse for a collectibles' show with Joyce and Priscilla in 2009
- he also appeared solo at Chiller in NJ summer of 2009.
I hope you have a great time going. I blew all of my money away at the BigAppleCon show last weekend so I probably won't be going to this one.
Maybe next year I'll try NY Comic-Con instead of BigApple (depending on the guest-list).

ah i stand corrected. had i known he was at chiller, i definitely would've went. i went to the big apple con last year. i think they're trying to rival NYCC, but the show is still relatively small. not really worth the price IMO.

As of last year, BigAppleCon is no longer indie and has been bought by Wizard World. I've been going to BigAppleCon relatively regularly for over a decade..
They were a lot bigger last year when they were on the pier, but this year they were back at the smaller spot at Penn Plaza.

yeah i knew about wizard world, but i didn't know they went back to the plaza. i think i like it better there. feels less corporate.
