Object of game: Assume the identity of one of Barney Miller’s detectives-Fish Harris, Wojehowicz, Yermana-and sit facing the detective’s desk blotter on the board. The object is to be the first detective to capture all four suspects appearing on the wanted poster to the left of the desk blotter.

Anybody here of this board game? LOL

Yeah, I've seen photos on Deb Wong's Barney Miller website. It looks like fun!! Only too bad that Chano isn't in the game. :(

I have a Barney Miller board game. :D I got it on EBay a few years ago. It was never opened still in the orginal plastic wrap. At least it was when I got it. I torn into the box as soon as I got it. ;) I have never actually played it though.

I wonder if Chano's absence means the game didn't come out until the third season?

I'm guessing it was the third season because Chano was gone, and although they were seen from time to time - Dietrich and Levitt were not yet regulars. They wouldn't be until the fourth season.

^ Makes sense since they probably wouldn't have put out the game until the show got really popular which didn't happen till at least Season Two.

^ Agreed. Hey, Sara - what's the copyright date on the box? If it's from 1976 or 1977, that would support my theory.
