In the 4 part espoide of when Jeannie is locked in the safe, and it is in part 4. We see Tony going and painting the safe to make it look like it is an ice cream cart. But when he gets it in the house, it is back to the way it was. Unless if Tony changed it to the way it was.

Yeah, that is a major continuity problem. The continuity person must have been asleep that day ;)

Then again, if this show had been made when computers allowed writers to keep databases of facts on the show, most of the writing mistakes we know about might not have existed, or been nearly as bad. Such as the multiple shows in the second season they did either around Jeannie's unknown birthday, or lack of knowledge of it. Yet just a year ealier she had stated it without hesitation, including her age (though I suspect she was just rounding up to get an even 2000...21 B.C. to 1965 does not equal 2000 years, but 1986 instead.)

In case you care, that date was July 1, 21 B.C. (I guess making her 21 when she was turned int a djinni and put in her bottle? Who knows...)
