Was she the 1st character to portray an older woman lusting after a younger man?

John Ritter once said he thought it was totally unrealistic for Jack not to succumb to Lana's wiles. I think he was right!!

It seemed like Lana's sole purpose on the show (https://www.reddit.com/r/threescompany/comments/1ku6owf/finishing_up_season_5_observations/) was to sexually harass Jack, which would be absolutely horrifying if Lana were a man and was doing that to Janet or Chrissy.

Since Helen Roper was gone, the show wanted a new older and sexually frustrated woman on the show. There was huge comedy with Helen's frustration with Stanely. In the beginning it was funny the way Lana would pursue Jack. The camping episode is hysterical.

This is exactly who I thought of. The first season she was all over Jethro. Even Jed and Granny noticed it.
