What was the ONLY #1 hit by the late, great Sam Cooke? Choices-1)1957's "You Send Me" 2)The ORIGINAL 1960 version of "Wonderful World"("dumda da da da dum da da da dum... Don't know much about history, don't know much biology..don't know much about a science book.don't know much about the french I took. But I do know that I love you,and I know that if you love me too...what a wonderful world this would be ..dumdum")or3)1962's lively "Twistin'the Night Away"

My favorite of the three is "Wonderful World" so I will guess that it was a number 1 song.

Crimson and Clover is right. It WAS "You Send Me".Of the 3 versions of "Wonderful World",by Sam Cooke,Herman's Hermits and the REAL SLOW version by Art Garfunkel,James Taylor and Paul Simon,Sam Cooke's original version is ,by far,the best.No prizes(darn),just fun.
