Does anybody remember it? The article above says it was the epitome of bad. It was an hour long and that in itseldf was 30 minutes too long....Ouch.

I never even heard of it. Gee, everybody and their mother had a variety show back then - just like everybody and their mother has a reality show today!! :eek: :crazy: :lol:

According to the article it was a special not a series. That means it only aired once. And according to the article that was probably once to much! :lol: :crazy:

It made sense for some sitcom stars (Mary Tyler Moore, Dick Van Dyke, Hal Linden, etc.) to have variety shows/specials because they had singing, dancing and/or instrumental backgrounds. For example, Hal Linden has played clarinet for many, many years. Others - not so much. Poor Ted.
