Characters Billy Abbott and Victoria Newman of soap opera "The Young And The Restless" currently have a new house on the show.

The strangest thing about this house is,it looks remarkabley like the Anderson home.Could it possibley be the same set interior being reused?

...considering the fact that "THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS" is from the same studio that provided production facilities and distribution of "FATHER KNOWS BEST", Screen Gems/Columbia {now Sony Pictures Television}, the exterior of the house is almost certainly the same. Columbia had a backlot known as the "Columbia Ranch" {now "Warner Ranch"}, where many of the outdoor locations for their movies and TV series were filmed [later, it was rented out to independent producers and various commercials]. And one section was a "typical" neighborhood suburban block. In fact, the "Anderson" house on that block was originally the "Bumstead" home in Columbia's "Blondie" movies from 1938 through 1950. Later, it was "Tony Nelson"'s house on "I DREAM OF JEANNIE". And if the interior is the same as when "The Andersons" lived there {the real home on the "Ranch" has offices within it}, well....
