Johnny be good!

I know during the Eastland era, we saw the bedrooms all the time. But how many times were they shown in the Edna's Edibles and Over Our Heads eras? And I saw the attic before it transformed into a bedroom.

I can see how many view, but replies are nice. So hop to it! You won't get many responses that way. Johnny be good! 09-16-2010, 01:19 PM You won't get many responses that way. Your absolutely right and I apologize everyone. Sammy Reed 09-20-2010, 10:10 PM In the reunion episode "The Little Chill" (Over our Heads era), it showed all the girls in their bedroom, where they had their slumber party. 80schild.com 09-20-2010, 10:35 PM we never get to see Mrs G's, or Beverly Anns boudoir. We get to see the hallway bathroom once in a season 5 episode. Johnny be good! 09-22-2010, 03:40 PM we never get to see Mrs G's, or Beverly Anns boudoir. Natalie1969 12-06-2010, 02:05 PM They show the girls' room alot during season 5-A Death in the Family, Big Fish/Little Fish, Next Door & Mother & Daughter come to mind. 80schild.com 12-06-2010, 06:42 PM They rarely show Natalie and Tootie's room. I think only once in "The first time" from season 9. 80schild.com 12-06-2010, 06:45 PM They show the girls' room alot during season 5-A Death in the Family, Big Fish/Little Fish, Next Door & Mother & Daughter come to mind. I'm pretty sure Johnny Be Good was talking about the room that converted from attic to bedroom in the strong season 8 episode "Another Room". This has the best slap stick moment/sight gag in the history of the show! Jude The Obscure 12-22-2010, 11:32 PM Blair crashing through the wall is priceless :D Jude The Obscure 12-22-2010, 11:33 PM Which reminds me.....if we see a hallway bathroom in season 5....why did the girls also have a bathroom in their own room?? Must have a lapse in continuity with the writers? Johnny be good! 12-29-2010, 01:28 PM Which reminds me.....if we see a hallway bathroom in season 5....why did the girls also have a bathroom in their own room?? Must have a lapse in continuity with the writers? Lol, not at all. Maybe the girls just didn't wanna wait turns. Besides, Edna and Beverly Ann had their own bathroom in the bedroom. lordstides 01-06-2011, 02:06 AM Hey, this is a great thread and was actually thinking about the room arrangements last week! What I'd really like to know is who shared rooms with whom during the first season. Anyone know? Johnny be good! 01-06-2011, 01:17 PM Hey, this is a great thread and was actually thinking about the room arrangements last week! What I'd really like to know is who shared rooms with whom during the first season. Anyone know? Lol, it's funny you say that. Because, I am still trying to figure that out. Johnny be good! 10-01-2012, 06:04 PM Do many of you remember? AnnaMarie 10-02-2012, 02:25 PM Blair roomed with Sue-Ann, I'm sure, since they were supposed to be best friends. Tootie with Natalie, ditto. Ian905 10-04-2012, 02:11 AM I know Blair and Sue-Ann shared a room because in the dieting episode when Sue-Ann is in bed Blair is the only other girl in the room, and also I am pretty sure they used the same room for that scene that used when Blair was writing her poem. I think that Natalie and Tootie shared a room, not that it's ever mentioned, but it would make sense seeing as the two were pretty much joined at the hip. Not sure about the others... AnnaMarie 10-04-2012, 04:21 PM eh...personally I don't care about how the others roomed. I liked the first season well enough because I like reading boarding-school stories, and the first episode of Season 2 I was going nuts over the disappearance of the other girls. But then Jo showed her magic, and I fell in head over heels in love with the show, and stopped caring about the others. Johnny be good! 10-06-2012, 12:36 PM That definitely was a moment to remember. Johnny be good! 07-20-2020, 09:12 AM I watched the entire final season recently, and we saw the remodeled attic that Tootie and Natalie moved in at least twice. They did a great job on it. 80s Dude 07-20-2020, 12:08 PM I watched the entire final season recently, and we saw the remodeled attic that Tootie and Natalie moved in at least twice. They did a great job on it. Welcome back, Johnny. You seem to have been on the board long ago. Sitcommania 07-24-2020, 10:07 PM The more I think about it, the idea of 4 best friends sharing a bedroom for 8 years is incredibly unrealistic. Okay, it makes sense at Eastland, but they should have found a solution much sooner. Building a new bedroom and splitting the group in half made more sense. RetroGuy2000 07-24-2020, 10:47 PM The more I think about it, the idea of 4 best friends sharing a bedroom for 8 years is incredibly unrealistic. Okay, it makes sense at Eastland, but they should have found a solution much sooner. Building a new bedroom and splitting the group in half made more sense. Yeah, it was weird. The producers seemed to think that four unrelated girls would want to share a single bedroom for most of a decade. But I'd assume grown women would want to start having a bit more privacy. Converting the attic into another bedroom was a good idea, but it should have happened years earlier. Especially with all of the Blair/Jo and Nat/Tootie fights. 80s Dude 07-25-2020, 06:05 AM Yeah, it was weird. Even Mindy said it was weird. Not as Natalie, but on her own. RetroGuy2000 07-25-2020, 07:36 AM Even Mindy said it was weird. Not as Natalie, but on her own. Yeah. It was like they wanted to keep the girls in stasis, just living together, in the same room, like they were forced to do at the beginning of the decade. But these girls now had a choice to live apart, and yet they shared a bedroom for far longer than what seems realistic. "Another Room" aired as Season 8, Episode 4. So for seven years, the four girls shared a room. valentina warner 07-25-2020, 11:52 AM I don't find it so unrealistic at all for the time: i once watched a soap from 1985, where a young woman in her 20 s was looking for flatmate to share the flat: 2 young women in their 20 s moved in with her, and they began to share a BEDROOM (apparently it was a lot cheaper that way back then) and became the best of friends in no time!!!!! I think when you're that young it doesn't matter: it's when you reach 30 that things change (you begin to want to have your own privacy, & that's when you think more an more about moving into your proper place)...... You guys also seem to forget, that those girls were truly like families: i bet you 100 bucks they were closer with each other than with their own siblings or blood related!!!! Of course nowadays it's less common to share a ROOM: now at least you can afford to share a FLAT!!!! Whats more: my dad told me that when he was a kid (back in the late 50 s ), when his parents got divorced and he and his dad moved out of the house (his sisters stayed with his mum but he chose to live with his dad) they had to share a BEDROOM with another man.... (so you see, back in the OLD OLD DAYS, that's how it was)...... Impressions 09-19-2020, 04:06 PM They rarely show Natalie and Tootie's room. I think only once in "The first time" from season 9. I think we saw Tootie's and Natalie's new room in "Present Imperfect." I think in "The First Time" we saw what became Blair and Jo's quarters, but I think they were all still in the same room in that episode because I remember Tootie sleeping there, and Nat waking her up there. It's confusing. The set became a complete maze in the later years. RetroGuy2000 09-20-2020, 01:13 AM The set became a complete maze in the later years. It really did. Add to that the two doors (one on each side of the fireplace) in the living room, the ever-changing kitchen, Mrs. Garrett's bedroom which wasn't high enough to really be above the kitchen (unless the kitchen was only 5 feet in height), along with all of the other architectural oddities, and that shop was a shape-shifting monstrosity. valentina warner 09-20-2020, 02:14 PM It really did.
