Naomi Frost, Avery Frost Celebrate Birthdays More Than A Century Apart

Kansas City, Mo. -- Naomi Frost is thankful she has lived long enough to celebrate her 103rd birthday. She is especially thankful this year because she celebrated her birthday with her first great-granddaughter, Avery Frost, who just turned 1 years old. Both Naomi and Avery Frost share Aug. 31 as their birthday.
"It's a blessing and an honor to be able to live that long and share (my birthday) with her," Naomi Frost said. Avery Frost is grandson Gary Frost's second child. Avery also shares her middle name with her great-grandmother. Gary Frost told KMBC's Donna Pittman that he is so glad his grandmother could see her great-granddaughter's first birthday.
"She's still with us and going strong and gets to enjoy the great-grandchildren," he said. "It's just an amazing thing!" Naomi Frost credits her longevity to not drinking or smoking and being surrounded by a loving family.
