Now that Lifetime is airing UM again, the web site has a new UM page with features including safety tips. Needless to say, what you'll see there is a lot more than what you will find at Spike.

Nifty. Looks like they're making an effort at promoting the show and getting folks interested again.

It certainly appears that way. The page is very similar to what it was eight years ago, in part because of the fact that it includes a list of safety tips. The new page is attractive.

Did any one bother to watch it? Did they keep the same format that they did when they went to spike with Farina?
When did Lifetime get back the rights to UM?
I wish they would air the original Stack episodes with all-new updates added on.

Wow, this is very interesting and unexpected...looks like they will air almost every day as well. I guess Lifetime has seen the drastic ratings drop after losing UM, HAHA! :) Here is the quote from the very own sitcoms online:
It was just this past Monday we gave you Lifetime's Fall 2010 schedule, but now they have added two more series to the schedule. These two series will actually start Monday, Aug. 30 instead of Sept. 13. The big news is that Lifetime is bringing back Unsolved Mysteries and will air it weekdays (except Thursdays) at 3pm and 4pm starting Aug. 30. The 2008 episodes with Dennis Farina are listed to air. The series last aired on Lifetime in 2007, but these 2008 episodes have never aired on Lifetime. The series moved to Spike TV in Fall 2008 in a 5-year deal and Spike TV it seems will still continue to air the series in late nights. Maybe now a shared deal it seems. We will have more on Spike TV's Fall schedule in the coming days, so stay tuned. And we will try to get more information on this Unsolved Mysteries situation on Lifetime, so stay with us.
When did Lifetime get back the rights to UM?
Probably a few months ago, although it wasn't announced until last month. One has to wonder why Lifetime reacquired the show. Personally, I wonder if Lifetime had realized that getting rid of the show was a serious mistake. I do, however, know that Lifetime went through a change in management not too long ago, which could have possibly led to the network's reacquisition of the UM.

They'd get even more viewers if they just played reruns.
That being said, I totally watched it today on Lifetime. :p
