Conan Unveils New TeamCoco.com Site

posted Aug 30th 2010

Wondering what Team Coco has been up to this summer?

Wonder no longer. You can now get a running account of Conan O'Brien's behind-the-scenes goings on with the new http://www.teamcoco.com/ site, which officially launched Saturday.

The site features a blog written by official Team Coco blogger Aaron Bleyaert (who also played the Masturbating Bear on tour), a link to a Team Coco YouTube site with a few TBS promos, a Fan Wall with fans' Twitter posts, and an online store.

For those counting the seconds until the new TBS show's Nov. 8 premiere, there is a countdown clock in the upper right corner.

The new site was automatically filled with content from Bleyaert's blog, with posts dating back to April 12 and covering the entire summer tour.

It also links to the Facebook page where the team did some live-blogging from Sunday's Emmy broadcast.

Conan's "Tonight Show" was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Series, but lost out to "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart".

And judging from the Facebook blog, Team Coco, like most of America, headed for the bathroom during the presentation for miniseries (they even posted video).

The new show has yet to be named, but the promo materials have been favoring the simple "Conan".

I really hope he doesn't go with just "Conan"... and anything with Coco in the title would be repulsive!

How about "Late Tonight with Conan O' Brien"? Ha!

Hate to break it to you but "Conan" is now officially the name of the show.
