View Full Version : Were George Jefferson & Tom Willis An Underrated Comedic Duo??? Brian Damage 08-29-2010, 12:39 AM What is your opinion on the George & Tom's relationship? Do you feel that they were UNDERRATED as a comedic duo? Maybe they weren't Abbott & Costello, but Sherman Hemsley and Franklin Cover had a good chemistry together. IMO They wasn't a comedy duo because Tom never said anything back to George until the 80's. And that was not often. I think it's a shame that Franklin Cover never did much TV after The Jeffersons. |
