The original host of “Family Feud” also starred as Corporal Peter Newkirk on “Hogan’s Heroes.”
His career went full circle since he returned to the game show in 1994 to host the final season of the show’s second run. He was even considered to do the current version of “Family Feud,” but chose to retire at age 77 instead.
