Now for a little fun. Reboots are all the rage. Joey, if you had to choose between a Blossom or Gimme A Break! reboot, which would you pick?
JOEY: Blossom, honestly, because I think that it is still relevant today, and I think that Gimme A Break! was too long ago. I think that would have to be completely re-done. Blossom is about a girl coming of age, having to deal with growing up when her mother is leaving, with all boys in the house, trying to find the woman she is. That is a very timeless thing that could be updated very easily.

I don't want to see any remakes either but I agree with Joey that if you were going to remake one of those shows Blossom would be the better and more relevant choice.

This idea struck my mind a few months ago, with how they are re-making a lot of old shows under the "Same Name" of the original.

Gimme A Break! would not work. Nell is gone. It would be very dumb to re-make the show and tie it into the original in some way, as pretty much a lot of the re-makes are doing, unless they just re-made the show under the same name and didn't associate it with anyone from the original cast, but then it would also be just as dumb to re-make.

The only show I could see working is Full House, even if it's under the same name, and even if they brought everyone back, but John Stamos said he wouldn't do a reunion, so it would be weird if they ever re-made the series 15+ years later.

What about a movie called "Gimme a Break"?

If that's what he (Joey Lawrence) was talking about, it may be odd....

Nellie Ruth Harper-Queen Latifah
Carl Kanisky-Alec Baldwin
Katie Kanisky-Miley Cyrus
Julie Kanisky-Some teen star
Samantha Kanisky-Some tween star
Jonathan Maxwell-Joey Lawrence!
