TMZ reports that Nick Loeb, boyfriend of 'Modern Family' star Sofia Vergara, was rushed to a hospital in Bel Air, California yesterday after a car accident resulting in "a severely broken leg and a deep gash across the chest."
Loeb, 35, is currently in intensive care. The Emmy-nominated actress, 38, began seeing him earlier this year. Loeb was formerly involved in Florida politics and is now pursuing television production in LA.
The two shared their love for each other on Twitter in June, with Sofia writing "@nick_loeb te amo," and Nick replying, "@SofiaVergara I love you too baby!!" They also vacationed in Italy in July.
While Loeb was banged up pretty good, Vergara sounded positive in a message to her Twitter followers on Tuesday afternoon.
"Thnks everybody, Nick is doing very good. Pelvix fracture, lots of pain but he is going to be ok. Gracias!!!"
