And his appearance on the new CBS version of "Let's Make a Deal"was great, and made the show that week memorable..And,"TV's Big Dealer"created and produced with Stefan Hatos of NBC'short-lived 1975 game show"3 for the Money",and the memorable ABC 1972-1975 game show starring Tom Kennedy, called "Split Second"(Monty Hall also hosted the short-lived 1986 version),hosted 1977's short-lived NBC show "It's Anybody's Guess"(with his ORIGINAL "Let's Make a Deal" sidekick -announcer the late Jay Stewart as announcer),and created 1966's short lived NBC's game "Chain Letter"hosted by the late Jan Murray.

And a couple of years ago when PBS did a special "Pioneers of Television",in the segment on Game Shows ,which featured Monty Hall(looking just as good then as he does now,and he looks great now ),Betty White,Bob Eubanks ,Tom Kennedy,Wink Martindale, the late Jack Narz, and the late Merv Griffin, which was interesting,Monty Hall said something to the effect that "Let's Make A Deal" (which ABC aquired from NBC in 1968)almost single handedly (with help from "The Newlywed Game")saved ABC from ratings obscurity.
