"Desperate Housewives" has placed "Life Unexpected" actor Reggie Austin on deck to portray the New York baseball star husband of Vanessa Williams' new housewife, Renee Perry.

Reggie's the new season, as Doug and Renee's marriage is sadly on the rocks.




With Renee now attached to boy toys played by 31-year-old Reggie and 37-year-old Brian Austin Green (as Fairview's new contractor), super sexy Williams, 47, is fast on her way to turning Wisteria Lane into TV's new "Cougar Town".
