I know this show hasn't been on in syndication for a while, but from what everybody remembers of it, does the show hold up like other classics like The Brady Bunch, Gilligan's Island, Bewitched, I dream of Jeannie, Sanford & Son etc...

Overall I'd have to say no. The first season does but the rest of the series was uneven. It had it's moments and I enjoy watching it but the shows you mentioned were pretty good all the way through.

I agree 100% There is just something about this show that makes me cringe. It went from silly to ridiculous practically overnight.

Hey happy days fans. Hey I know this sounds crazy but I am going to lay it on you anyway.
If I were CBS. Paramount I would seriously try to in the future to team up with Time Life which could and would help them release more HD L&S and M&M television show series. When time life did the odd couple and Get Smart it was very successful. As a matter of fact, I was reading on Tvshowondvd.com that they are working on releasing The Million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman. As a suggestion, they should try to partner up with them. What do you all think.

Agreed. I first saw this show in syndication in the mid-80s and Mearth gave me nightmares - I kid you not. Even today the image of Mearth makes me shudder.

I think most fans agree that the first season was the best, but I like Season 2 more than most do because of Gina Hecht. Mearth was used too much in Season 3 in my opinion -- he could have been sent to Ork for schooling to get rid of him, and just have Winters on occasionally.
Not everyone will ever agree for many series as far as whether they qualify as classics, but I do think some of the better episodes hold up quite well. Pam Dawber was a great actress, very consistent -- and in combination with Williams' schtick, there was something happening there that was pretty special for a while.
