Who knew a site about Soap hunks would compile the definitive list of the greatest moments in soap opera history? Even better, a majority of the moments listed are accompanied by a video of the actual scenes!

Some of the highlights from the list for me:

Judith Light's breathtaking, Emmy-winning scenes from One Life to Live, where she admits on the stand that she's a prostitute.

Reva's "Slut of Springfield" speech from Guiding Light.

BJ's death and her heart given to Maxie from General Hospital.

Erica crying out for her dead mother Mona on All My Children.

Phillip's death on Young & The Restless.

Stephanie confronting her mother (Betty White) about the abuse she suffered at the hands of her father as a young girl from The Bold & The Beautiful.

Frankie's murder on Another World.

Check out the list for your own favorites!

Interesting list, but Carly told Bobbie she was her daughter in early 1998, not 1996.

A lot of the CBS moments I remember watching when they first aired. I could have done without the Reva clone on GL. That was the worst storyline in soap history.
