A Pennsylvania woman claims an actor in a Donald Duck suit at a Disney theme park groped her when she asked for an autograph.
They could make him the eighth dwarf and call him Gropey.

A Pennsylvania mom is suing Walt Disney World, claiming an actor dressed as Donald Duck copped a feel when she asked for an autograph for her kids.

April Magolon, 27, of Upper Darby, Pa., said she approached the iconic duck while at Epcot in May 2008, and the actor inside the feathery suit got fresh with her.

"Donald Duck proceeded to grab [her] breast and molest her and then made gestures making a joke indicating he had done something wrong," said the suit, which was filed in federal court.

Magolon says she suffered "severe physical injury" as result and has been plagued with anxiety, headaches, nightmares, digestive problems and cold sweats.

She is demanding more than $50,000 in damages.

Donald Duck could not be reached for comment, but a spokesman for Walt Disney World said the amusement park "will respond appropriately in court."

The suit claims that the local sheriff's office had fielded 24 complaints of similar alleged sex acts by costumed characters since 2004.

A spokesman for the sheriff could not confirm the claim but did say Magolon never filed a complaint.

In 2004, a man dressed as Tigger was arrested on charges he groped a 13-year-old girl and her mom. He was later acquitted after wearing the costume in court to show how little can be felt through its mitts.

Yeah, I have seen some crazy things going on at Disney myself...

Last time I went down with my family in 2003, I noticed a man sitting on the sidewalk in front of the ladies room (I think it was in the Magic Kingdom) and he was snapping photos up girls' skirts with his cell-phone as they were walking in and out of the bathroom.

I pointed him out to my father and he watched him for a little bit to make sure before he reported it.

He went to a cast-member nearby who then right away contacted the security.

I can just see Debbie Downer now...

"If you go to Disney, whatever you do, don't get your picture taken with Donald... you're liable to get molested... Disney's had several reported incidents over the past few years, and it's getting worse."

(muted trombone) waaah waaaaaaaaaaaahhh

^^^I was watching Fox News earlier and they were talking about this story. Megyn Kelly (anchor of the show I was watching and former lawyer) said the same thing. The list of symptoms the alledged victim said had was over the top. I mean nausea? Come on!

I'm guessing it may have been an accident.

I was thinking the same thing!! Just another moron with nothing better to do, but try to get money from a big company. If there's anything Disney is guilty of is price-gouging!! It's $82 now for admission into any of their parks! Unbelievable!!

BTW, they are saying that the majority of people who "play" Donald Duck are female, because they need a petite person to fit into the costume. That's not to say that a female couldn't have done it, but it seems that this woman has assumed that it was a man inside the costume.

This has not been Donald Duck's year. Remember this story from the not-so-distant past??

lol, too funny!

If your last name is "Duck", how do you name your kid "Donald"? lol
Guess it was either that or "Daffy"

Yes, this is true about females playing most character parts. I worked at Disney World for a couple of summers when I was in college, and I met one of the girls that played Mickey at the time.

I think that they look for petite persons to play those roles because they don't want the characters to be TOO big compared to the very young kids who visit the park to meet them. They actually hold auditions to fill the character parts.

Plus, the actors are not allowed to speak when they're out in public with the guests while in costume, so there's no way to know whether a boy or girl is in the costume.

Too much parying with Linsay Lohan when she was under contract with them.

And, too, (sorry if this has been mention before) but that costume has very limited vision. All you can see is straight ahead. Not to the side like us. It could've been an accident and the "victim" lied about the rest of the stuff. And Megyn did say a woman is almost always Donald, as stated before.

Last year was a good year for Donald, but this year's totally different!

Next, I'll hear that Donald was fully exposed somewhere and not just in a cartoon!
