Why is the WB releasing Old Christine beyond season 2 only through the WB Disc-on-Demand Shop? And if they have to sell them this way, why can't they press the show on regular dvd's, instead of the cheap dvd-r's that there is no guarantee will play on your player?
I have the first 2 seasons, and wanted the whole series. But I'm not going to buy the rest until they market it right! The show was already screwed by being cancelled prematurally, to be replaced by that trashy William Shatner !##*! Bleep, Bleep show!

@markway895:
I understand your frustrations; however, after Season 1 sold terribly, they weren't even considering releasing Season 2, so I'm just grateful that we are getting semi-official releases. I also share your concern about it not playing on all DVD players: Season 3 won't play on one of my three DVD players, but overall the sets are extremely well done and worth the money to own the episodes. It's the only releases we'll ever get, so if you want the show, it's worth the money!

I bought some WB on demand sets, which do not play, although they play on my PC. Is it older models of DVD players that don't play them? I intend to get a newer one, with the hopes that it will play all dvd-r's! I think its odd that my current players play most home-made dvd-r discs, but not WB mod's. :confused: Anyway, thanx for your input. :cool:

So it really doesn't have to do with the age of the DVD player, but what type.
