Bonita Friedericy Made Series Regular on "Chuck"

The General has gotten a promotion.
Though Bonita Friedericy has appeared in nearly 50 episodes over three seasons of "Chuck", the actress was only just made a series regular. Her Gen. Beckman will stick around full-time to boss around Agent Bartowski and his handlers, reports The Ausiello Files
Executive producers Chris Fedak and Josh Schwartz confirmed the news, with Fedak telling Ausiello, "She's an incredibly important part of the show. She's like the Charlie to 'Charlie's Angels.'"
Usually, Gen. Beckman is seen from the torso up via a computer screen, but in season 4 she'll get to expand her range of motion.
"We'll see her legs in the first episode," Fedak said. "She gets to walk around."
