On Monday August 23rd a movie will be shown called "Bond of silence" on Lifetime. it is about the murder of Bob Mcintosh. in 1997 teens were throwing a wild party next door. he went to quiet it down but never came back. none of the teens or anyone in the town would talk about it. years later the perpetrator (played by Charlie Mcdermott) was convicted and forgiven by Bob's wife Kathy. (played by Kim Raver) she later wrote a book about the ordeal and sometimes is accompanied by Ryan Aldridge (her husband's killer) to speak at seminars with her about teen drinking and drug use.
Okay... so there isn't much of a mystery. but I found the premise interesting. I think it's amazing she was able to forgive the teen who killed her husband. and even invite him to talk with her at seminars. I personally don't know if I could forgive someone who murdered someone close to me. what do you guys think?
