Just wondering, what do your local channels have on their digital subchannels? My locals don't really have anything interesting, but here it is anyway:

WYFF 4.1 NBC
WYFF 4.2 Weather

WSPA 7.1 CBS
WSPA 7.2 RTV

WLOS 13.1 ABC (I believe 13.2 is a rebroadcast of WMYA/40, not on cable)

WGGS 16.1, 16.2, 16.3 IND/TBN Religious (I don't think these subchannels are on cable)

WHNS 21.1 FOX
WHNS 21.2 Weather Radar

WNTV 29.1 SCETV
WNTV 29.2 South Carolina Channel
WNTV 29.3 PBS Kids (something like that)

WMYA 40.1 MNTV (40.2 is a rebroadcast of 13/WLOS, not on cable)

WYCW 62.1 CW (62.2 is a rebroadcast of 7/WSPA, not on cable)

I've seen a little of This TV and wasn't too impressed, but I hoped we would get it anyway. Then there was the stillborn .2 Network that I was hoping for, but they will likely never launch. It is nice getting RTV, but I don't care for anything they show really and last I read they were still showing the same episodes over and over.

In St. Louis not much.

KMOV 4.2 CBS (Weather Radar loop which use to have audio from NOAA Weather Radio not anymore)

KSDK 5.2 NBC (Weather also but from accuweather)

KPLR 11.2 CW (Was The Tube until it shut down suppose to ThisTV sometime in the future but nothing yet)

KETC 9.2 PBS Kids
KETC 9.3 PBS World
KETC 9.4 PBS Create

KNLC 24.2 IND (Mostly religious I really don't bother watching this channel.)

KDNL 30.2 ABC (Suppose to be TheCoolTV but so far nothing has happened yet.)

On my TV, I have nothing, not yet anyway. That's because, in Canada, the switch to all-digital TV broadcasting will not happen until August 31, 2011, which is almost exactly a full year away, and more than 2 years after the US changeover. When the switch happens, this is what I would expect the channels to look like in the Toronto area:

CANADIAN CHANNELS

CKVR 3.1`A-Channel

CBLT 5.1 CBC

CFTO 9.1 CTV

CHCH 11.1 CHCH

CITS 36.1 CTS

CIII 41.1 Global

CFMT 47.1 OMNI1

CKXT 52.1 SUN TV

CITY 57.1 CITY TV

CJMT 69.1 OMNI2

US CHANNELS - All from Buffalo

WGRZ 2.1 NBC
2.2 Universal Sports
2.3 RTV

WIVB 4.1 CBS

WKBW 7.1 ABC

WNED 17.1 PBS HD
17.2 PBS
17.3 ThinkBright

WNLO 23.1 CW

WUTV 29.1 Fox
29.2 TheCoolTV

WNYO 49.1 MyNetworkTV HD
49.2 MyNetworkTV

WPXJ 51.1 ION
51.2 Qubo
51.3 ION Life

WNGS 67.1 DayStar

All data from Wikipedia

As far as I know, all the Canadian stations will only have the .1 in their names for now. I wouldn't expect any .2 or .3 channels to show up right away but that will only be a matter of time. Right now, looking ahead, I'll be excited if I can pick up the RTV channel since I've been wanting to see it for a long time. I also wonder what channels from other outlying areas I'll be able to pick up, like Rochester or possibly closer to home like Utica, Albany, or Syracuse. Anything will be a bonus. I'll know better once next August arrives. As always, I'll let you know first.

We can't pick up anything with an antenna and there is no cable so our only option is a dish. We get locals but no subs. I wish Retro TV Network would come to dish!

I wish one of the NY stations would pick up Retro TV. It would really make my day. Heck, I wish that Comcast would pick up This TV, since apparently WPIX is carrying it on one of their subchannels now. I'm desperate for classic tv and would prefer to not have to go online to get it or buy DVD's.

RTV is a waste. They show the same shows (never anything new) and many times they repeat episodes or show the same 5 over and over. Huge disappointment.

You mean channels I can get without a cable box? I get some I don't get with a box, cause I have a an HD TV in my bedroom that gets DTV Channels, one of them is RTN, another is something called "THIS" which is based here in Columbus, OH. It seems to show alot of B&W westerns. Other than that not much
