Have you ever thought to yourself, “Self, you are not doing enough to ensure you die of a heart attack before you have to deal with that nasty growing old nonsense”? Then maybe you should see if your local state fair is selling the Krispy Kreme Cheeseburger. It’s exactly what it sounds like: A burger and cheese, with one or more doughnuts instead of a bun, weighing in at about 1,000 calories, according to one purveyor.

If that’s still too healthy for you, the Wisconsin State Fair has improved on the concept by adding chocolate-covered bacon on a stick, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. We’re not sure why there’s a stick. But in any case, the burger seems popular. “It’s a doughnut with chocolate-covered bacon and a cheeseburger put together. How could you go wrong?” raved one diner. “It’s really good,” his 9-year-old nephew agreed. Another agreed that it was amazing—once a year. “More than that—I’m in the hospital.”

Ugh sounds like a ghastly combo to me - but to each their own I suppose.

Although I really do love Krispy Kremes but wouldn't dare have one (like I could have just one anyways ha ha). But to really crank up the carbs, saturated fat and calories just add a liter of regular coke and an extra large french fries with mayo dip. Oh, and I almost forget, a pint of Haagen Daz (or Ben and Jerry's) for dessert.

I'm all for trying different things - but I don't think bacon and beef would go well with doughnuts.

I remember an old George Carlin routine where he talked about looking into his refrigerator and not being able to identify something that had been left there for a very long time. He said he was like "Hmm...this could be meat...could be cake. Must be...MEATCAKE!"

Be sure to take along a bottle of syrup of ipecac to induce vomiting because that thing probably tastes as nasty as it looks.
