Mr. Belvedere takes Wesley and Miles trick-or-treating and the boys are upset with a family that won't come to the door. Miles says, "Lets soak their windows!" Then Wesley says, "No. Better. Let's push their microwave dish into their pool!" I don't get it. Is it just me, or does Wesley's line not make any sense?

First of all Miles said lets soap the windows. The reason that would be a good prank is that if you soap the windows than the people living in the house can't see out. As for Wesley's statement, microwave dish is another name for satellite dish. In the eighties these were much larger and usually sat on the ground not on the roof. So Wesley's intended prank was to push the dish into the pool which would cause it to short out and make the people in the house loose their TV reception.

Got it. I remember the giant satellite dishes that sat on the ground but I had never heard them referred to as "microwave" before.
