I hope that somewhere in the land of TV, all the GT characters are still happy and thriving. :D

As series finales go, I love it. and it was the rare series finale for a Norman Lear show-- neither Archie nor The Jeffersons got such a send off.

It would've been nice if they'd had a reunion movie later to show what the Evans/Anderson/Woods families were up to. You know, how they made the adjustment from poverty to wealth, how Thelma and Keith were adjusting to parenthood, how JJ's new comic strip was doing, and if Michael was able to become a successful lawyer and still had his sets high on becoming part of the Supreme Court.

I think a real cool twist would have been Bookman winning the lottery or something and buying the building the families lived in. It would've been awesome to see him being their landlord - he would've been an even bigger pain than he was as a janitor!!
