Barry Willams, Christopher Knight, Mike Lookinland Together For First Convention In 20 Years, and First Time Ever on East Coast!

From awkward first kisses to untimely voice changes and warnings not to play ball in the house, they have been coming into living rooms for more than 40 years as the famed Brady brothers in the cult favorite television series “The Brady Bunch” and its various sequel programs and movies.

Now, Barry Williams, Christopher Knight and Mike Lookinland will be together again for the first time ever on the East Coast at Wizard World Big Apple Comic Con, October 1-3 at Penn Plaza Pavilion in New York.

The three will meet fans, take photographs, sign autographs and participate in a once-in-a-generation panel discussing the franchise that millions have enjoyed for decades, as well as the way the series helped shape their own lives.

“When it comes to pop culture, 'The Brady Bunch' hits the mark for fans of all ages,” said Gareb Shamus, Wizard Entertainment CEO. “A third generation is now growing up on the program, and having all three 'brothers' together in one place is a rare opportunity that whole families will want to enjoy.”

Williams, who played the eldest brother, “Greg” on the series, which aired from 1969 through 1974, is also an accomplished singer, recording albums and performing in musical theatre.

In addition to starring in numerous “Brady Bunch” reunions since the end of the original series run, Williams had a recurring role in the series “Hollywood 7” and has made guest appearances in more than 30 television shows.

“I can't wait to reunite with my Brady Brothers in New York,” said Williams. “I can't remember when all of us have done a signing together. Big Apple Comic Con rules! From the biggest Brady Brother, see you there!”

Knight, one of the most popular guests on the Wizard World Comic Con tour, played the middle brother “Peter” on “Brady Bunch.”

He has gained a new following among younger fans through his co-starring role, along with his wife, “America's Next Top Model” winner Adrianne Curry, in “My Fair Brady.”

He was also host of the game show “Trivial Pursuit: America Plays” and has run several successful businesses.

“I'm overjoyed that my Brady brothers have elected to join me at this year's Big Apple Comic Con,” added Knight.

“Since the show went off the air, the three of us have only appeared together for autograph signings twice before! Mike and Barry are my oldest friends on earth. It'll be a thrill sharing their company and Brady spirit!”

Lookinland, who portrayed “Bobby,” the youngest of the trio, had several roles in the years immediately after “The Brady Bunch,” most notably alongside Jennifer Jones and Paul Newman in the 1974 disaster film The Towering Inferno.

He later moved behind the lens, working the cameras for numerous films and television series.

In addition to the “Bradys,” other guests due to attend are:

Adam West - "Batman"
Jake Lloyd - Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace
Doug Jones - Hellboy, Hellboy II: The Golden Army
Walter Koenig - "Star Trek"
Larry Thomas - The "Seinfeld" Soup Nazi

It's nice to know that the Brady brothers still like each other are able to be in the same place at the same time unlike those battling Brady sisters!!

Well, it would be unfair to drag Susan Olsen into it - I know she stays in touch with both Maureen and Eve but stays out of their drama. Plus, you see her at events with the Brady boys and Robbie Rist aka Cousin Oliver often.

This event is great. I usually try to attend every year.

I got to meet Chris Knight at last year's October event.

In case anyone plans on attending - Knight charged $20.00 for an autograph last year, so if you plan on getting all three I would expect to pay at least from betw. $60.00-$80.00 depending on the prices -

...not including the admission fee.

These conventions can be a bit pricey but Knight was one of the cheapest prices there. I don't think Williams and Lookinland will charge more than that either, but I can't be certain.

I've seen some other guests charge $25.00, $30.00, and $40.00 for an autograph so $20.00 is actually not bad considering that.

I never meant to include Susan in my statement. I was really referring to Eve and Maureen and their inability to get along. I have nothing but the greatest of respect for Susan. She's been stuck in the middle between Eve and Mo for years and has handled it extremely graciously!

Totally. Susan is one cool cucumber. Here she is at an event last year with her "brothers", Robbie Rist aka Cousin Oliver, and Davy Jones!!

Here's also an interview (at the same event as above) where Susan frankly speaks about the feud between her "sisters":

That's a very insightful interview and Susan doesn't pull any punches! I love how straightfoward she is in answering Chris Mann's questions!

Susan is a cool, tough, funny chick who never minces words. I like that in a person - it's like you always know where someone stands with Susan.

I attended the BigAppleCon on Oct. 2nd (Sat.) and met the Brady Boys.

They were charging $20.00 per item signed and were sitting at a table together with their handler. I told the handler I wanted a signed photo of Lookinland and Williams and I payed him the $40.00

I didn't really want to get Chris Knight again since I got his autograph at last year's event...

After I payed I stopped in front of Michael Lookinland and picked out the photo I wanted signed.

He got really excited at the one I pointed out because it was from "The Bradys". He asked me if I watched the show and I told him that I know of it but I did not see all of the episodes. Lookinland then said that not many people have.

I then had to ask if it will ever come to DVD and he laughed and said, "Don't ask me... I was only on the show and I don't know anything else..." to which Chris Knight was smiling seated next to him.

He asked if I wanted anything in particular on the photo and I said my name and to please write "Don't play ball in the house".

He then laughed again and said that he hasn't said that in years and then Chris Knight chimed in with "Mom always said not to play ball in the house".

Here is Michael Lookinland's photo:

I then stopped over in front of Barry Williams who was not as chatty as Lookinland was.

I spotted the photo I wanted and he too asked if I wanted anything on it.

I told him my name and your famous line "Clowns never laughed before..."

He smiled and signed the photo; then thanked me for coming down to the Con and said that he hopes that I have a great time.
