I heard the story of a 73-year old grandmother who was jailed for just one night,(I know,some of you will probably think it should have been more-and yes,I am aware that domestic abuse is wrong,but in this case the cops were overzealous),for slapping her 19-year old granddaughter across the face for mouthing off to her grandmother,and calling her family losers.Well,anyway,the granddaughter called 911,on her grandmother and had her arrested.Later,to "Inside Edition",the granddaughter told them HER side of the story,saying that she said a lot of things to her she didn't mean,and never intended to have her grandmother arrested.The granddaughter also got chewed out by a DJ on talk radio who called her a "spoiled brat",and later,in court,the prosecutor asked the granddaughter if she wanted to press charges,and the girl said NO.Anyway,all charges were dismissed.
