There was at one time, a remake of Strokes with a Gary Coleman look-alike as well as look-alikes for Mr Drummond, Kimberly, Willis and one of the maids who was originally playedd by Charlette Rae.

I think it was short-lived though. But I believe that it aired on NBC, maybe.

I don't think I saw the Diff'rent Strokes sketch but I remember The Facts of Life one. Gary Coleman made an appearance in it as the security guard.

The Rerun show was a NBC 7 episode limited series with a group of comedic actors redoing classic scripts word for word but with a different tone to make fun of the original episode....it is now considered a cult classic, luckily I recorded them all. yes some real actors participated like Gary Coleman, Danny Bonaduce, Marla Gibbs, Dustin Diamond just to name a few....2 12 minute shows were in each episode...besides strokes some of the shows re-done were facts of life, jeffersons, saved by the bell, jeffersons, one day at a time & Married with children....basically it was a sony connected show.......just to clarify to the original poster, strokes was never redone as a series, just two 12 minute segments were produced.

I think the first episode or more were about Mr. Drummond being suspected of pedophilia - supposedly having a lustful attraction to Kimberly.

I remember Bobb'e J. Thompson (who played Stanley on That's So Raven) playing the young Gary Colman in Behind the Scenes: The Untold Story.

I remember Todd Bridges being in their spoof of The Jeffersons.

Bobby J. Thompson (whose pic appears below), when he was a little boy, also played a young 8-year-old Gary Coleman in Diff'rent Strokes: Behind the Scenes.

I never got a chance to see it when it was on TV! :(
