Last night I was going through some of my old radio stuff only to find an old AP news story from 2000 that mentioned The Simpsons and how they are getting more stars to appear on future shows...
Among those who were considered according to that AP story....
*Madonna ( No way !! She hates cartoons !! )
*Dick Clark ( not sure what to think here )
*Tammy Faye Bakker ( she did Roseanne..why not the Simpsons ?)
*porn actor Ron Jeremy ( I can see this one )
*Richard Simmons ( OK !!..surprised he hasn't don't the show yet )
*Hall & Oates
*Tim McGraw & Faith Hill
..of course none of the above had ever done the Simpsons so it could be a safe bet to say that they all had turned down the show. Afterall money I am sure wasn't a factor with Ron Jeremy and Hall & Oates.
Have there been others who for one reason or another had declined to be a part of The Simpsons?
