I was watching the Gimme a Break dvd and my dvd collection or recorded episodes off tv and I noticed that the commercial breaks are totally different like USA and UPN would go into break in the middle of a scene and the dvd version would cut right after the scene which means we saw it all.

Dvd version: Nell is having a conversation with Addy about Sam's scholarship and it is extended

USA Version: Nell is having a conversation with Addy about Sam's scholarship and commercial break cuts the conversation short so it looks like the never finished the conversation by the time the break was over.
