is there anyone you can recognize just by their voice?

Whenever I call my therapists office, everyone knows it's me just by the sound of my voice-even if I haven't talked to them in a few months.

Someone had CNN on today, and I was in the other room where I can not see the television, but I knew Wolf Blitzer was on by the sound of his voice. I don't even watch CNN.

Yes, there are quite a few. I'm a secretary and I can often tell who it is within a split second. (And then there are some people with very distinctive voices like the lat Howard Cosell, rip)

That and I can recognize some actors voices. Like if a movie is on an I'm in another room.
